How it works

  1. Send the design

    Message @textile_designer.ai with a photo of the design. For print quality, attach it as a Document instead: PNG, JPG, WebP or TIFF, up to 80 MB.

  2. Pick a tool

    Tap "Choose a tool" for the list of categories and pick one, or just type the tool name, for example "repeat" or "colourways".

  3. Check the settings and the cost

    Change any setting if you need to. Before anything runs, the chat tells you how many credits it will use and asks you to confirm.

  4. Get the file back

    The result comes back in the same chat as a file, ready to download or forward. It is also saved in your Library on textile-designer.ai.

Words you can type

  • “credits”: your organisation’s credit balance
  • “tools”: the list of tools
  • “help”: a short reminder of how it works
  • “cancel”: stop the current run before it starts; nothing is charged

You can also type a tool name with your design, for example “half drop repeat” or “vectorize”, and skip the menu.

Connect your account

There is nothing to install and no code to enter. The number you message from must be the phone verified on your Textile Designer AI account; that is how the chat knows which account and which organisation's credits to use.

Does it keep print resolution? Can I send a TIFF?

Yes. WhatsApp compresses photos, so for print work attach the design as a Document. Documents are taken as they are, up to 80 MB, in PNG, JPG, WebP or TIFF; a TIFF is converted to PNG when it arrives, as it is on the website. Results come back as documents too, with the original file, not a compressed preview.

Does it cost the same credits as the website?

Yes. Runs use your organisation’s credits, at the same cost per tool as on the website, and the chat shows the cost before you confirm. If your plan includes the Unlimited bundle or you are on a Truly Unlimited plan, the same tools are included here as they are on the website. Type "credits" at any time to see your balance.

Is this for factories or for freelance designers?

Both. A sampling team can send a buyer’s photo and get a repeat back on the shop floor, and a freelance designer can make a colourway or a print-ready file away from the desk. The tools do the repetitive work; you still choose the design, the colours and whether the result is good enough to print.

What if my number is not linked?

The bot replies that the number is not linked yet. The number you message from must be the phone verified on your Textile Designer AI account, and that phone is verified with an OTP when you buy credits at checkout. If you already have credits, message from the number you verified there. New to Textile Designer AI? Sign up, and when you buy credits enter the number you use for WhatsApp.

Can my team use it?

Yes. Each person messages from their own phone, and each phone must be the verified phone on their own account in your organisation. Runs draw on the organisation’s credits, and any personal credit limit an admin has set still applies. If an admin has turned a seat off, that person cannot run tools on WhatsApp either.

Do you reply outside the chat?

No. Results and replies come back only in the chat you messaged from. WhatsApp lets us reply for 24 hours after your last message, so if a long run finishes after that, the file waits in your Library on textile-designer.ai. The bot only runs design tools; it does not chat about other topics.
